The cat died of cancer on my Mom’s Birthday who in turn died of cancer, crazy, Everybody loved him in the Sting, but for me it has to be Cool Hand Luke it was him as his most American role, still the moment in film history that he was a part of was him riding that bike with the girl on the handlebars in Butch Cassidy with BJ Thomas singing Raindrops Keep Fallin on my Head, that was loverly, everybody is dropping dead lately, whats the rush to leave this little blue marble, RIP Paul you were a great one, Kevin
Also, I remember seeing him young, and now he’s gone. I think this might be a turning point, like when a song from high school was first called an “oldie”.
Because it’s all about me, you know.
For me it’s Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
He was so freakin’ cool, yet seemed like someone you could have a beer with. He was an activist and a race car driver. He was the Hot Hollywood Star who was married for 60 years, which is about 600 years in Hollywood time.
There will never be another like him – I’m so sad.
